Certainly, I can use any photos you have. However, if the photos were taken by another photographer (other than yourself), you will need to get permission — preferably written permission — from them in order to be able to use the images in a photo book.
Every photographer’s images are copyrighted. They own all rights to their work. Just because you bought a print or digital file from them, doesn’t mean that you can reuse that image in any way you want. They need to give you permission to print the image, publish the image on your website, or use the image in an ad. If they don’t, and I use it, it is a copyright violation.
