Our Apologies

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006

Dieffenbaker
We’d like to apologize to the Scottish Terrier Club of New England and the competitors from last weekend’s agility trial. We take our commitments seriously; only an emergency would keep us from showing up at an event we’ve promised to attend.

Unfortunately, we arrived home after the trial Saturday night to find our 10-year old Labrador Retriever mix coughing up blood. We spent several hours at the emergency vet’s that night. The prognosis is not good; Dieffenbaker has been diagnosed with lung cancer and likely has days to live. We decided it was important that we spend what time he has left with him.

Our apologies and our thanks for your understanding.
