Each book includes up to 40 pages (20 pages printed both sides) at the base price. So, at a minimum you can choose 40 photos for your book. If I use a template with more than one photo per page, you can use more. I typically will NOT put more than four photos on a page. After all, you’d like the photos to be big enough to enjoy, right?
If you find that you can’t narrow down your selection to fit that many pages, don’t worry. I can add more pages if necessary. There will be an additional cost, but I will contact you prior to printing for your approval. If you wish to go ahead, I will invoice you the difference.
Tagged as: photo bookI work really hard to correctly identify every dog in every photo by name. Unfortunately, I’m not perfect and sometimes make mistakes. If I choose the pictures for your book, I’ll pull images from the search results. Since I don’t know your dog as well as you do, if there’s been an identification error, I might not realize it.
While I understand that choosing the images can be a daunting and time-consuming task, choosing them yourself is the only way to ensure that you get the images you want of your dog.
You don’t have to do it alone, though. I’d be more than glad to help out. Just let me know.
Tagged as: photo bookCertainly, I can use any photos you have. However, if the photos were taken by another photographer (other than yourself), you will need to get permission — preferably written permission — from them in order to be able to use the images in a photo book.
Every photographer’s images are copyrighted. They own all rights to their work. Just because you bought a print or digital file from them, doesn’t mean that you can reuse that image in any way you want. They need to give you permission to print the image, publish the image on your website, or use the image in an ad. If they don’t, and I use it, it is a copyright violation.
Tagged as: photo bookIf you are providing your own images to be used in a Photo Book, Calendar or Ad, I prefer digital files. However, if you only have prints or negatives, I can scan them to convert them to digital files.
If you are sending digital files, they need to be in JPG, TIFF or PNG format, preferably. Please send them full size (6″x10″ or larger) and full resolution (300DPI). You can email the files to me, or if you’d prefer send me a CD-ROM if there are a lot of them.
If you still have questions, please let me know.
